In my November highlights, I mentioned my Friendsgiving meal which was my first completely vegetarian Thanksgiving meal. It was super tasty and I think the menu would work really well for any other winter holiday, so I thought I'd share it with you all! All credit goes to my friend for coming up with this menu and executing it so well.
We cooked this over the course of an afternoon together. Having so many munchies and drinks on hand made for a really enjoyable cooking time. Throw on some festive music and you've got yourself a very cozy, fun gathering.
//Appetizers
A selection of cheeses with crackers
Mixed roasted and salted nuts
Grapes and apple slices
Garlic and blue cheese stuffed olives
Homemade vegan Chex mix
Veggies and roasted red pepper hummus
//Main course
//Dessert
Pies galore. We ordered several small pies from a local bakery!
//Drinks
Wine -- three chardonnays, a cabernet sauvignon and a shiraz.
Spiked apple cider -- a few bottles of apple cider, some mulling spices and a bottle of vodka.
